Kampani featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review

How an innovative stakeholder-shareholder investment model is helping smallholder farmers grow and thrive.

We are very proud to announce that our article on Kampani’s model and strategy has just been published in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, the leading American journal on social innovation.

The article provides insights and a better understanding of the critical success factors when investing in high risk, high-cost segments, such as the missing middle in the agri-food sector, generating considerable impact while also providing a financial return. Having now done 18 investments in 14 different countries, the article brings together lessons-learnt and highlights the critical conditions to replicate and scale Kampani’s stakeholder-shareholder model.

We feel very honoured that our model is gaining international visibility and that Kampani’s strategy is increasingly being recognised as successful and scalable!
